NEW TITLE...NEW JOB...NEW COMPANION

MY ENGLISH CLASS.
I just got a new job in my mission.  I am now a trainer.  I am so excited about this.  My new companion is from Veracruz, Mexico.  He is 18 years old and I am old!!!!!  His name is Elder Montero.  He is going to do a great job.  He is very enthusiastic.  After living in a Frat house, I am used to different personalities and problems.  I am grateful that I always had to share a small room with my brother. It prepared me for this and for college.  I'm still teaching English.

THREE GREAT FAMILIES!

LOVE CHEESE AND SAUSAGE FROM HOME.

THE DISTRICT

IVY AND FAMILY.

THE ZONE!
I am used to being with someone all the time and sharing small spaces.  My childhood prepared me in so many ways for this.

We had a baptism this week.  It was an elderly man getting baptized and an elderly man doing the baptizing.  The elderly man getting baptized wasn't sure if the other man was going to be able to lift him out of the water.  He did struggle bringing him up out of the water but there is a bond there that is very special.

Something funny that happened to me this week was when we were talking to this lady and I told her that I loved tamales.  I didn't know that she made them for a living.  I left her house with 3 bags of tamales.

TAMALE WRAPPED IN BANANA LEAF. YUMMMM!

COW LIPS AND TONGUES!

Very Large Grapefruits
We had a great Sunday.  I went in the morning with a member from the area to pick up an investigator and then went to church, we were in divisions while my companion went to a quick lesson we had beforehand.  When we got to church the ward was very kind and talked to him and he felt very welcome.  My  companion was late getting to church, and I couldn't understand why.  But then about 10 minutes after we started, just before sacrament, he entered the chapel with 9 other young men behind him and a recent convert of his that I haven't seen at church  in over 2 months...  It was Awesome!    Missionary work is the blood of the church. It's about loving and helping people. We have a responsibility to share what we know. If we don't then we are being selfish.

These pictures are of cow lips and the flesh that is underneath the tongue.  It is used for Barbacoa, they really like it here (me not so much).  It's like pizza to them, they eat it whenever they can.

This picture is funny because it says Grandaughter...
This picture is even funnier because in the writing it says, "all I could find are little boy cards"

I get spoiled from my Memaw and Papa.

Lots of cereal.

I made Fettuccine and Gnocchi.

This was a great day.  It felt like home.

 THE SCENERY HERE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

PICTURE THIS!

Sorry but I haven't had time to write very much.  I will catch you up on all of my pictures.  Email me at jason.bandy@myldsmail.net and tell me which one is your favorite.
This was one of my favorite T.V. shows at home.
They have these random paintings.  But I like them.

Great artwork by Mallory and Beckham!

Got a BYU soccer shirt.  Thanks family!

Goodies from the Family!

My mom puts scriptures on my Christmas package.  It is a hint of what is inside.  Sometimes it doesn't make too much sense.

Love this family!

All the stuff below my Mema and Papa fit into this envelope.
